A Brushstroke of Nature
This screen begins with the same woven bamboo that runs through our collection. But here, the surface becomes a canvas: hand‑painted bamboo motifs — leaves, slender stalks — appear in subtle ink against the natural weave.
The frame is lightweight paulownia, chosen for its straight grain and stability. The bamboo itself is carbonized, its color deepened to a warm, dark brown. Against this ground, the painted bamboo appears in a lighter tone, as if traced by light.
Each panel is offered at a reference size of 180 cm in height and 45 cm in width. Available in single‑ or double‑sided painting. Sold in sets of three panels minimum, the screen can be arranged to create a continuous landscape or as a freestanding piece.
