Defining Space, Softly
A screen is not a wall. It is a gesture — a suggestion of division that remains open, breathable, inviting.
This Fjord Screen is crafted from two natural materials: a solid frame of pine and a woven field of natural reed. The reed carries the memory of riverbanks, its texture warm and irregular — a surface that catches light and softens sound.
Each screen is composed of four individual panels. A single panel measures 180 cm in height and 45 cm in width. Arranged together, they form a full composition — capable of partitioning a hotel lobby, framing a meditation corner, or defining a quiet zone within a larger space.
The pine frame is left clean and unadorned, allowing the reed weaving to take focus. The structure is stable, deliberate, and entirely hand-assembled.
Dimensions and panel configurations may be tailored — wider, taller, or arranged differently — to suit the specific rhythms of your architecture.
A presence that divides without closing. A screen that screens, but still lets the world breathe through.
