Hexagonal Rhythm
This screen is a tapestry of hexagons, a classic rattan weave that captures light in a thousand tiny, geometric reflections. Its surface is warm to the touch, rich with a quiet, tactile rhythm.
A solid pine frame, clean and unassuming, holds the composition. Within it, a mat of rattan is stretched and secured by hand, its natural variations in color and texture not just preserved, but celebrated.
Offered in a reference size of 180 cm high by 45 cm wide, each panel is a single note in a larger composition. A minimum of four panels allows them to be arranged in a gentle line or folded into a W-shape, adapting to the space. In its folded state, the screen becomes a study in contrasts—one face open and rhythmic, the other more closed and private, playing with transparency and shadow.
